Edwina Thomson, known as Ed, is an Australian creative whose practice spans both art and design.

Art

Ed’s art practice explores contemporary landscape through embodied drawing, painting and spatial installation. Working across large-scale surfaces, folded forms and responsive materials, she explores memory, movement and site through gesture, layering and chance.

Located between Sri Lanka and Australia, her work engages with a range of landscapes, seeking to capture the feeling and embodied experience of being within them.

Design

Alongside her art practice, Ed continues to offer creative services developed over more than 25 years working across hospitality, interior design and architecture.

Her work includes project management, design direction, event creation and broader creative strategy—bringing together people, spaces and ideas to deliver thoughtful, well-designed experiences.
